The Wooden Lodge is in Upper Lye, near Presteigne in Herefordshire. It's detached, just me living next door. You get your own enclosed garden with a deck.
Sleeps four in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable. The living space is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler nights, and a dishwasher.
The garden is enclosed. You can bring two dogs at no extra charge. We can sometimes take a third for a fee, but please ask first.
It's a rural spot. The nearest pub is a couple of miles away. The shop is about four miles, in Presteigne. Presteigne is a small market town, about a ten minute drive. It's got some nice shops and cafes. The Judges Lodgings museum there is good.
For walking, you're close to Offa's Dyke Path and the Mortimer Trail. Ludlow is about half an hour's drive. It's got a castle, good food shops, and a market. Leominster and Hereford are also within half an hour if you need bigger towns or a cathedral.
The facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there, and wifi. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
