Middle Hanter is a detached house up a track in Burlingjobb. It's quiet, rural. You get a decent view of the surrounding hills. There's a covered hot tub at the back.
It sleeps six, but in two bedrooms. One is a king size, the other has two sets of bunk beds. So it's good for a family, or for friends who don't mind sharing. One bathroom with a shower.
You can bring up to three dogs. They've got an enclosed garden, which helps.
The house has a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable. It's got underfloor heating downstairs, and a wood burner in the open-plan living area. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, all the usual stuff.
For walks, you can literally go out the door. The Offa's Dyke path is very close. The The Hergest Croft Gardens near Kington are worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.
Kington is about four miles away. It's a small town with shops, cafes, a couple of pubs. They've got a golf course there, which is known for being quite high up. Hay-on-Wye is about thirteen miles away, so about twenty-five minutes by car. That's where all the bookshops are.
You're in the middle of the country, so a car is essential. From here, you can get to the Brecon Beacons or the Shropshire Hills within about forty-five minutes.
