Middle Hanter is in Stanner, a hamlet near Kington. It's a detached slate cottage. You get the place to yourselves.
It sleeps six with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second is a bunk room with four beds, so it's ideal for families. It's a 4 Star property, so it's comfortable and in good order.
The front garden is enclosed. There's a patio area with a hot tub, and it's under a cover so you can use it in the rain. It looks out over the fields.
There's parking for two cars on the gravel drive. Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a woodburner. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Stanner is quiet. Kington is about four miles away for shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs. The golf course there is one of the highest in the country.
For walking, you step outside the door. The Offa's Dyke path is close by. Hergest Croft Gardens are nearby in Kington. Hay-on-Wye is about 13 miles away if you want books or the festival.
Further afield, you can get to the Brecon Beacons or the Elan Valley reservoirs within about 40 minutes. Ludlow is just over half an hour's drive.
