Melancroft

Melancroft is in New Radnor, near Kington. It's a detached place on a quiet lane, so it's just you and the view. The view is fields.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom, plus a shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. One bedroom is on the ground floor with a king-size bed. That one has a Jack and Jill bathroom, which means you can get to it from the bedroom or the hallway. The stairs are fine.

The kitchen has what you need. There's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room has French doors that open onto the patio. The garden is large, with furniture, and it's all yours.

You're about a 15-minute drive from Kington. It's a proper little town with shops, cafes, and a pub. The golf course there is one of the highest in the country, the views are good. Presteigne is about 20 minutes away, The Judge's Lodging museum is there if that's your sort of thing.

For walks, you're right on the border. Offa's Dyke path is close. The Brecon Beacons are about a 30-minute drive. Hay-on-Wye is under half an hour, that's the book town. Hergest Croft Gardens are near Kington, they're nice. There's a small breeds farm park just outside Kington too, kids like that.

You can bring one dog. There's parking on the driveway. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
