The Old Stables
The Old Stables is just outside Kinnerton in Powys. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours on either side. The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the Radnor Forest. The patio doors open onto a decked area so you can sit outside with it.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One double, one twin. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. Being detached and on one level makes it feel private and easy.
You're right in the countryside here. It's very quiet. The Radnor Forest is on the doorstep for walking or mountain biking. There are a few marked trails. Presteigne is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's got some nice old buildings, a couple of pubs, and a market.
Within half an hour you can get to Knighton or Kington. Kington has a good golf course. There's also horse riding available locally if you book in advance. For a longer day out, Ludlow is about 40 minutes drive. They've got the castle and the food market.
As for the cottage itself, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance and the main rooms are all on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. We don't take pets.
