Lodge 1

This is Lodge 1, one of three cabins here in Llangunllo. It's detached. You're set back from the lane in about two acres of land with the others, but it's quiet. The old mill race runs through the grounds, so there's a ditch that can be wet or dry depending on the rain.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well-equipped and kept up. You've got things like a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The pub is a few minutes' walk down the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is about seven miles away in Knighton, so you'll want to bring a big shop with you.

You're right on the Welsh border here. Knighton is the main town nearby and it's a proper Offa's Dyke town. Good walking straight from the door if that's your thing. Within about half an hour's drive you've got the red kite feeding station at Gigrin Farm, or you can go over into Shropshire to Stokesay Castle or Ludlow.

The property allows two pets. There's a patio area with a BBQ, and parking right outside.
