Robins Nest is in Leek, which is right on the edge of the Peak District. It's an end-terrace cottage on three floors. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it's more clean and comfortable than luxurious.
The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. The first double bedroom is up a flight of stairs. The second double bedroom and the bathroom are up another flight. Those top stairs are quite steep, they’re old cottage stairs. Just so you know.
Outside, there’s a small enclosed courtyard at the back. It’s set into a big rock face, so it feels sheltered and private. Good spot for a quiet coffee in the morning.
Leek town centre is a short walk away. There are shops, cafes, and a market. It's useful. There's a local pub within walking distance too.
Rudyard Lake is about two miles away. Nice for a walk or a potter about by the water. For walking, The Roaches and Tittesworth Reservoir are both about five miles away. Alton Towers is about a 20-minute drive if that's your thing.
For facilities: there’s parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is included. You can bring one dog. There are some grab rails fitted, mainly in the bathroom.
