Ivy Lodge

Ivy Lodge is a holiday lodge in Rudyard, Staffordshire. It's a single-storey lodge, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It sleeps four, but there's only one proper bedroom with a double bed. The other two sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. It's a good size for a couple or a small family. There's one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it.

The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, sofa, and doors out to the deck. The deck looks out over a big garden. There's a pond in the garden, so you'd need to keep an eye on kids or dogs. You're welcome to use the garden.

We allow one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside and the bed linen and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

Rudyard Lake is about a ten minute walk. You can walk around it, and there's a model steam railway and a cafe. The local pub is The Knot Inn, it's a short walk away too.

Leek is the nearest town, about three miles. It's a proper market town with shops and supermarkets. Alton Towers is roughly a 20 minute drive if that's your thing.

You're right on the edge of the Peak District. The Roaches and Tittesworth Reservoir are close by for walks. Buxton, Bakewell, and Chatsworth are all within a 30 minute drive.
