This is Dane Hurst. It's in Rushton Bank, Staffordshire. Detached house, sleeps ten, five bedrooms. It's got a four star rating. It's big but not huge, so it's comfortable rather than cavernous. The gardens are good, lots of space to sit out. There's a pond, but it's fenced off so small children are safe.
The layout is straightforward. There's a main kitchen and living area downstairs. There's also a snug room off to the side if people want to watch different things. The conservatory gets the sun and has good views. There's a utility room with a washing machine and dryer.
Upstairs, there are three bathrooms, two are en-suite. Five bedrooms, two king-size, two doubles, and a bunk room. One of the king-size beds can be split into two singles if that works better.
The area is quiet. It's proper countryside. There's a public footpath right from the gate for walks. The Peak District is close, obviously, you can be in the National Park in about twenty minutes. The Staffordshire Moorlands are the same. Macclesfield Forest is about a fifteen minute drive, good for forest walks.
For facilities: it's got parking on site, including an electric car charger. Bike storage. WiFi. TV. Wood burner. Cot, highchair, stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. It takes up to two dogs.
Useful links for planning: Peak District National Park and National Trust Peak District. The town of Leek is nearby for shops and pubs, about a ten minute drive.
