Morar Lodge
Morar Lodge is in Pitlochry. It's a detached house, not overlooked at the back. Sleeps eight. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy.
It's got a five star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. High ceilings, lots of space. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual.
You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. There are shops, a few places to eat, the usual. The house is quiet though. You wouldn't know you're that close.
The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub. The patio has a table and a barbecue. It backs onto trees.
Inside, the main living area is open plan. There's a kitchen with a dining table, a sofa area, and a gas fire. There's also a sunroom off the back. It has a sofa bed if you need extra space. There are TVs in the bedrooms.
For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. Loch Tummel and Loch Faskally are a short drive away for walking or fishing. Blair Atholl Distillery is a ten minute walk. Edradour is another distillery about a mile out of town.
Further out, within about half an hour, you've got Queen's View, Killiecrankie, and the Pass of Killiecrankie. Driving towards Aberfeldy takes you past the castle and the Water Mill. Facilities: parking for two cars on the drive, bikes can be stored, washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair available. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
