Craigower View

Craigower View is a modern house in Pitlochry. It's semi-detached, so you'll have neighbours on one side. Sleeps four, with two decent sized bedrooms upstairs and one family bathroom.

The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs or kids. There's a patio area out the back with seating and a barbecue.

It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. There's a washing machine, wifi, parking right outside, and all the bedding and towels are included.

Pitlochry itself is a ten-minute walk downhill. It's a proper Highland town with the usual shops, cafes, and a couple of supermarkets. The Pitlochry Dam and Salmon Ladder is worth a look. The Festival Theatre is there if you fancy a show.

You're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park here. Ben Vrackie is the local hill if you want a proper hike. The Queen's View, about a twenty-minute drive, looks out over Loch Tummel.

For a day out, Blair Athol Distillery is in town. The smaller Edradour distillery is up in Moulin, which is the village right next to us. You can walk there from the house.

The Enchanted Forest light show happens in Faskally Wood every autumn. You'll need to book tickets for that well in advance.

You can drive to Loch Tay or Loch Tummel in about fifteen minutes if you want water. Glenshee is about forty minutes for skiing in the winter.
