This is Elnagar Cottage in Pitlochry. It's a stone cottage built into the hillside up from the town centre.
It's a one bedroom place, just for two. It has what you'd expect: a kitchen, a shower room, a double bedroom. Everything is on one level, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after.
The owners live next door. They're there if you need anything to do with the cottage. The garden is yours to use. It looks out over the town towards the hills. It's about a ten minute walk down into the centre of Pitlochry.
In town, there's the Pitlochry Festival Theatre and the dam with the salmon ladder. There are a couple of distilleries nearby if that's your thing. For walking, you're right on the edge of the Highlands. There's a path up to Ben Vrackie from the town. For bigger trips, you're about an hour from Aviemore or an hour and a half from Glencoe.
Facilities are straightforward. There's parking right outside, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. The bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
