Ferry Cottage is a bungalow on a quiet street just outside Pitlochry. It sleeps two people. It's got a 4 star rating so it's well looked after.
It's semi-detached, one of two. The living room is at the back and has French doors that open onto a deck. The garden is enclosed and looks out towards the river. You can hear the water from there.
You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. There's a shop and a pub about 500 yards away. Pitlochry's well known for the Festival Theatre and the fish ladder at the dam, which are both a pleasant walk from the cottage.
For days out, you're right in the middle of things. There's walking and cycling straight from the door. The Queen's View is about a 20 minute drive. Blair Castle is about half an hour. If you like whisky, there are several distilleries within a short drive, like Edradour and Blair Athol.
Dunkeld is a nice town about a 25 minute drive south. Perth is about 40 minutes away if you need a bigger city.
The facilities are all there: wifi, TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. There's a shed if you bring bikes. No pets, sorry.
