Ardlevale Cottage is a one bedroom cottage on the edge of Pitlochry. It’s the end house in a terrace. It’s been done up recently.
The main thing is it sleeps two. There’s one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well equipped. The garden is a proper enclosed garden with a fire pit and a shed for bikes.
Downstairs is the kitchen and a living room with a wood burner. There’s a toilet on that floor too. Upstairs is just the bedroom with a king sized bed. The window looks out over the back garden and the fields beyond.
In Pitlochry itself there are shops, places to eat, and a couple of pubs. It’s a good base for walking. The town is known for its theatre and the salmon ladder. You’re right on the edge of the Highlands here.
Within about half an hour you can drive to several distilleries if that’s your thing. Blair Atholl and Blair Castle are a short drive away. For a longer day out, you can get to the Cairngorms or down to Perth.
A useful thing is that your booking includes use of the spa and leisure facilities at a local hotel. That means a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, and things like tennis courts.
In terms of what’s there, it has a washing machine, TV and Wi-Fi. All bedding and towels are included. There’s parking for one car on the drive. No pets, sorry.
