Cart House

This is Cart House. It's in Great Hatfield, which is inland from the East Yorkshire coast. The house is detached and sits on a ten acre smallholding. The land is shared with a few other cottages, but yours is separate.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept. There's a hot tub in the enclosed garden, which is private.

We've got some farm animals here - goats, pigs, sheep, that sort of thing. They're in paddocks around the place. There's a dog walk on the land too. You can bring up to two dogs.

The local pub is closed at the moment, but there are others in New Ellerby and Withernwick, a short drive away. The nearest shop is in Sigglesthorne, about four miles.

The coast is about ten minutes by car. Mappleton Sands is a good sandy beach. Hornsea is a bit further, maybe four miles. It's a proper seaside town with a mere for birdwatching and boating.

Beverley is lovely, with the Minster and the racecourse. That's about a twenty minute drive. Hull is under half an hour away for things like The Deep aquarium. Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are both close if you like stately homes.

The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for walking. The landscape is rolling chalk hills. It's what David Hockney painted.

Facilities: it has WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We can provide a cot and highchair.
