The Stables

The Stables is near Hornsea, out in the East Riding. It's designed for big groups, sleeps twelve in total. It's a single-storey place, so no stairs. Everything's on the ground floor.

It's got four bedrooms. Two doubles, one has an en suite and a door to the garden. There's a room with three singles and another en suite. The family room has a double, a single, and a sofa. There's a third main bathroom too.

The main room is open plan. Big kitchen with two of most things: ovens, microwaves, kettles. A long table for everyone to sit at. The sofas are facing a large TV. Three sets of doors open onto the patio.

Outside, the garden is enclosed. There are two hot tubs. Through a separate entrance there's a games room with a pool table and darts.

Hornsea is about five minutes away by car. It's a seaside town with a long beach and a promenade. Hornsea Mere is the big lake. Good for birds and sailing. There's also a RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs, about half an hour's drive. You can see puffins there in season.

In the other direction, Hull is maybe 25 minutes. They've got The Deep aquarium. Beverley's about the same distance, nice market town with its minster.

It's a 4 Star place. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Towels and bedding are included. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance and inside. You can bring up to three dogs.
