Oystercatcher Cottage

Oystercatcher Cottage is on the Cleddau river in Llangwm. It's detached and the garden goes down to the water. The main view is straight across the river to the trees on the other side. You see a lot of birds.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well finished. The beds are good quality. One super king, one king, and a bunk room.

Downstairs is mostly open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area with a wood burner. There's a second living room off that with a bigger TV and better sound, which is handy if the kids want to watch something different. Patio doors lead out to the garden. The hot tub is down there by the river.

Llangwm itself is quiet. There's a village shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. The Cleddau is good for a gentle stroll. For a proper beach, you need to drive. Broad Haven is about 20 minutes away. It's a good, sandy beach.

You're right on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The coastal path is about a 15 minute drive to get to a decent starting point. From there you can walk for miles. Haverfordwest is the nearest town for bigger shops, about ten minutes by car.

For days out, Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park are both within half an hour. Picton Castle is about 15 minutes away.

Facilities: it's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. WiFi. Parking for two cars on the drive. Pets are allowed, up to three. Bedding and towels are included. They provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
