Meadows Farm Lodge
Meadows Farm Lodge is in Penllergaer, just north of Swansea. It's a detached, single-storey lodge, so everything's on the ground floor. You've got your own enclosed garden out the front which is handy if you've got dogs or kids.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's been recently done up so it's clean and fresh, not old-fashioned.
You're in the countryside here, on a farm. It's quiet. There's a local pub in walking distance, about ten minutes on foot. For a big shop, you'll want to drive to Gorseinon or Swansea.
The main reason to stay here is the location. You're about 20 minutes from the edge of the Gower Peninsula, which is all National Trust land and fantastic beaches. National Trust Rhossili has the details. Rhossili Bay, Three Cliffs, they're all within a half hour drive. Swansea city centre is about 15 minutes away if you need shops or the marina.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, parking right outside, all bedding included. The kitchen has what you need. You can bring up to two pets. The owner mentioned they can sometimes arrange a food pack from local shops if you ask ahead, you'd need to sort the cost with them directly.
