Willow Lodge
This is Willow Lodge. It's in Boys Hill, which is in Dorset, near Sherborne. It's a modern one-bedroom lodge that sleeps two people. It's got a four star rating.
The lodge is detached and on its own. You park by the main house and walk down a gravel track to get to it, about a hundred and fifty metres. That means it's quiet and private.
It's modern inside but has some reclaimed wood fittings. There's an open-plan living area with a kitchen that has a dishwasher. The bedroom has a king-size bed and looks out over a large pond. There's one bathroom with a shower.
The garden and patio are yours to use. You'll get bedding and towels. There's TV and WiFi.
It's on a working farm, so the setting is very rural. There are views across the countryside. It's good for a quiet, romantic break.
Sherborne town is about a ten minute drive. It's a historic market town with Sherborne Abbey and two castles. You've got shops, cafes, and places to eat there.
Within a half hour drive you can get to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton. The village of Cerne Abbas, with the chalk giant, is about twenty five minutes away. There's a local golf course and horse riding nearby if that's your thing.
