Barleycorn
This is Barleycorn. It's a converted barn in Boys Hill, Dorset. It's on our land but you have your own space. It's all on one floor so no stairs to worry about.
It's for two people, one bedroom. The shower room is a wet room, which is good if you struggle with steps or just like the space. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The place is open plan, with beams. There's a dishwasher and WiFi. The garden is enclosed so it's secure if you bring a dog.
You're out in the country here. The nearest shop and pub are about two and a half miles away in Nether Cerne. You'll need to drive. For walking, you can just step out onto the lanes.
Sherborne is about a fifteen minute drive. It's got the abbey and a castle. Dorchester is about twenty minutes the other way. That's Thomas Hardy country. The coast at the Jurassic World Heritage site, around West Bay, is roughly half an hour. You can get to Bath in about an hour if you fancy a longer trip.
