Barleycorn
This is Barleycorn. It's in Boys Hill in Dorset, in the grounds of our place. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so no stairs. It sleeps two, one bedroom with the bathroom ensuite.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's got beams, which look nice, but mind your head if you're tall. The wet room shower is good.
It's very much in the countryside. The views are over fields. You get your own enclosed patio garden with it. There's parking right there.
The nearest shop and pub is about two and a half miles away. You'll need a car. Sherborne is close, that's an old abbey town. Dorchester is the other way, that's a proper market town. Both have everything you need.
It's a good spot for walking straight from the door. For a day out, the Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive. Weymouth or Lulworth are good for that. National Trust Dorset has lots of places nearby too, like Hardy's Cottage.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
