Buckshaw Gate is an old house from the 1800s, stuck in the middle of the Dorset countryside near a hamlet called Sandhills. It's detached and quiet. You're down a lane so there's no traffic noise.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms. That's useful. It's got a 4 Star rating so everything is in good order. You can bring two dogs.
The ground floor has the living space, which is all on one level. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside. There's a TV and WiFi, it works fine for streaming.
You can walk straight out into the fields from the door. For a pub or a shop, you'd need to drive to a village. Sherborne is the nearest proper town, about a 15 minute drive. It's nice for a wander, has an abbey and places to eat.
The coast is about half an hour away. That's the Jurassic Coast. You can get to places like West Bay or Lyme Regis in that time. There's a golf course a few miles away if you're into that.
