Toad Hall is one of the barn conversions at White Horse Farm in Middlemarsh. It's single storey, so everything's on the ground floor. There are a couple of others and a separate lodge on the same site, all spread over two acres.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. The rating is 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable, not modernised or fancy. You get your own decked patio out the front.
The site has a games room, a duck pond, and plenty of land to wander. There's also a big indoor barbecue hut that seats about fifteen people. You can book it if you want, it's shared with the other properties.
There's a pub that does food about 200 yards up the road. The nearest shop is in Cerne Abbas, about four miles away.
You're quite central for Dorset. Sherborne is six miles north, it's got an abbey and a castle. Dorchester is about twelve miles south. Cerne Abbas is four miles away, you can see the Giant from the road. The coast is a bit further. Weymouth beach is good for families, that's about eighteen miles.
For more organised days out, the National Trust has a lot of properties nearby. The Dorset AONB site is useful for walks.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
