Badger's Middlemarsh

Badger's is on White Horse Farm in Middlemarsh. It's a single-storey barn conversion, so everything's on the ground floor. It sleeps two, with one bedroom and one bathroom.

The place has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. You've got your own decked patio out the front.

The farm site is about two acres. There's a duck pond and a games room. They've also built a big Finnish-style indoor barbecue hut that seats about fifteen. You can book that separately if you want. There are a few other holiday homes here too, so it can be quiet or sociable depending on who's around.

There's a pub about 200 yards up the lane. It serves food. The nearest shop is four miles away in Cerne Abbas.

Sherborne is six miles north. It's a nice town with an abbey, a castle, and places to eat. Dorchester is about twelve miles south. It has museums, like the Tutankhamun exhibition. The Cerne Abbas Giant is four miles from here.

For a day out, the coast is under an hour's drive. Weymouth has a good beach. The Jurassic Coast runs from there down to Lyme Regis. Inland, you've got the National Trust places in Dorset and the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.

What's here: a TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
