Wriggle View is a cottage on our farm. It's in Totnell, which is in the Blackmore Vale in Dorset. We've got a beef herd, some sheep, and chickens. You'll see them around.
The cottage sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star rating. It's nice, but it's still a converted farm building. The layout is upside down, so the living area is upstairs. That's not a mistake, it's just the design. It means the views from the main room are better.
The stairs inside are normal. There's a ground floor wet room, which is handy if you've been out walking. The place is open plan upstairs. It can get warm in summer.
You've got a private garden and patio with a BBQ. Parking is on site. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
The farm is rural. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in the village. You'll need a car.
Sherborne is five miles away. It's a nice town with a castle, an abbey, and shops. Dorchester is about ten miles. That's where the county museum and the Tutankhamun exhibition are. The coast, like Weymouth and the Jurassic Coast, is about a 40 minute drive.
If you're looking for a day out, the Tank Museum at Bovington is popular. Monkey World is nearby too. In Somerset, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton has a Concorde. For walks, the countryside here is good. You're not far from the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
