Ratty's Middlemarsh

This is Ratty's. It's a small one-bedroom barn conversion on White Horse Farm in Middlemarsh. Sleeps two. It's all on one level.

The place has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. You've got your own decked patio out the front.

The farm has about two acres of land. There's a duck pond and a games room with a pool table. There's also a big indoor barbecue hut you can book if you fancy it. The other holiday homes here can be rented separately, so sometimes there are other guests around.

The pub is a couple of minutes walk up the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is in Cerne Abbas, about four miles away.

Cerne Abbas is the village with the giant carved into the hill. Sherborne is about six miles north. It's a nice town with an abbey, a castle, and some shops. Dorchester is twelve miles south. From there, it's about another eight miles to the coast at Weymouth.

If you're driving out for the day, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton or the Tank Museum at Bovington are within half an hour. For a walk, the Cerne Giant is right there, or you can head into the Dorset National Park.

Facilities: there's a shower, TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
