Kingfisher Cottage
Kingfisher Cottage is in Oborne, which is just outside Sherborne. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one floor. That's handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star which means it's comfortable and has what you need. It's finished with rugs on wooden floors. There's a woodburning stove for colder nights.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. Sorry, no pets actually, I misspoke. There's a barbecue out there too.
You've got the basics: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot and a highchair if you need them.
There's a country hotel about a minute's walk away. They do food and drinks. The nearest shop is in Sherborne, about two miles.
Sherborne is a nice town. It's got an abbey and a couple of old castles. From there you can get out into the Blackmore Vale.
For a day out, the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton is about twenty minutes by car. Montacute House is maybe half an hour. For the coast, Weymouth or Lyme Regis are just under an hour's drive.
