Wold Retreat

Wold Retreat is one of two cottages here at Wold House, just outside Nafferton. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level which is handy. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own shower.

The main room is open plan with big windows looking out over the fields. There's a kitchen with an island and a dishwasher, a dining table, and sofas facing a TV. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well looked after and has the things you'd expect.

Outside, you have your own garden with a patio, seating, and a private hot tub. Then there are two acres of shared grounds with a heated swimming pool (open in summer), a summer house, a BBQ, and a kids' play area. There's also a shared games room with table tennis and pool, and a separate snooker room with a full-size table.

You're about a mile from Nafferton village for a shop and a pub. The coast at Bridlington is about nine miles for the beach and harbour. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is good for puffins, about twelve miles.

For a bigger day out, you can drive into the North York Moors or up to Scarborough, both around twenty miles. York is about twenty-five miles if you fancy the Minster and the shops.

Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
