Drumford is a bed and breakfast on the main promenade in Bispham, north Blackpool. It's across the road from the beach. The building is big and Victorian, typical for here.
It sleeps up to 19 people in ten bedrooms. Seven of those have their own bathroom. There are eight bathrooms in total. It's a 3 Star place, so think comfortable and practical, not luxury.
We can do a continental breakfast for you in the morning if you want it. You also have use of the kitchen to make other meals. We live separately in an annexe at the back, so we're around if you need anything but you won't see us otherwise.
The front rooms look straight out to sea. You get the sunsets. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for about eight cars on the drive, and we have an electric vehicle charger.
You're right on the tram line. The stop is a three minute walk away and it'll take you all the way to the Pleasure Beach and the Tower. There's a Sainsbury's, some cafes, and an arcade just round the corner on Red Bank Road.
You know what's here. The Pleasure Beach, the Tower, the piers, the waterpark. The beach across the road is sandy and usually quiet compared to the centre. The autumn illuminations start right outside.
For a day out, the National Trust's Lyme Park is about an hour's drive. The Lake District National Park is also just over an hour north if you want proper hills.
In terms of stuff here, it's all provided. Bedding, towels, WiFi, TVs. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, a highchair and a cot. The garden is enclosed.
