South Pier Apartment is a ground-floor place, right in the thick of Blackpool. You're on the main stretch, so you'll get the noise from the seafront, but you're also two minutes from the beach.
It's got three bedrooms, sleeps six. Two bathrooms, one of them is an en-suite which is handy. The place is graded 3 Star. It's clean and it works. Everything's on one level so fine for less mobile guests.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a permit for one car in the parking area.
You can basically walk everywhere. South Pier is three minutes away. The Sandcastle Waterpark is five. The Pleasure Beach is about a seven-minute walk. Central Pier, the Tower, the Winter Gardens – they're all a longer walk, maybe half an hour. Or you can get the tram from outside South Pier.
If you need a break from the seafront, Blackpool Zoo is decent. The tram up to Fleetwood is a good trip. There's a big outlet shopping place at Fleetwood if that's your thing. In autumn, obviously, you've got the Illuminations.
What's in the flat: Wi-Fi, a TV, washing machine, parking permit. Bedding and towels are included.
For planning trips, the Visit Blackpool site is useful. For wider travel, there's Visit Lancashire.
