Commonside Cottage
Commonside Cottage is a bungalow in Ansdell. It sits between Lytham and St Annes. It's detached, so it's just you in the building, and you get the garden. The whole place was renovated at the start of 2024, so everything is fresh and works properly.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. Parking is on the driveway.
Ansdell has a train station about five minutes walk away. There's a local pub a similar distance. Fairhaven Golf Course is just up the road, a few minutes on foot. The famous Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club is about five minutes away by car.
Lytham is about a mile off. You can walk there in half an hour through Lowther Gardens, which brings you out at the green with the windmill. It's nice for shops and places to eat.
St Annes beach is a couple of miles the other way. It's a good sandy beach with the pier and the beach huts. Blackpool is about fifteen minutes in the car if you want the lights and the Pleasure Beach.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV. All bedding and towels are provided. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
