Struan

Struan is a mid-terrace villa in Barnyards, near Kilconquhar. It's on a quiet street. You get the house to yourselves, plus a decked terrace and garden at the back, which is enclosed. Parking is for three cars at the rear.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place was fully refurbished, so it's in good order. The stairs are standard for a villa like this.

Downstairs is open plan. There's a wood burner in the living area, a dining table for six, and the kitchen leads off it. There's a small boot room with a toilet just off the kitchen, which is handy. The shed is good for bikes and golf clubs.

The village of Kilconquhar is quiet. There's a pub and restaurant about a five minute walk away. It's won awards and is very good, but you'd need to book. The Kilconquhar Castle Estate is nearby if you fancy tennis or pony trekking.

Elie and its beach are about a ten minute drive. It's a nice beach for a walk or a paddle. For a bigger food shop or a wider choice of places to eat, you'd drive to St Monans or Elie itself. Bowhouse in St Monans is worth a look for local produce on market weekends.

St Andrews is about a twenty minute drive. That's where the Old Course is, and the university town. For a longer coastal walk, the Fife Coastal Path runs through the area.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. We accept up to two dogs.
