Rickyard Cottage

Rickyard Cottage is in Buildwas, Shropshire. It's part of a group of converted farm buildings. You're on the ground floor, which is all on one level.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after, with things like exposed stone walls and wooden beams. It's comfortable but it's not huge, which is fine for a couple.

You've got your own patio area with a table and chairs. There's parking right outside the door. Inside, there's an open plan living area with a kitchen, a sofa, and a TV. There's an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. It puts out a decent heat. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. The site is enclosed but it's not totally escape-proof, so you'd need to keep an eye on them.

The location is good. You're a few minutes' drive from Ironbridge Gorge, which is a World Heritage Site. There are all the museums there. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums site has the details.

For walking, you're right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills. The Shropshire Hills website has maps and routes. The Wrekin hill is very close if you want a steep climb with big views. Bridgnorth is about a 15-minute drive, it's a nice little town by the river.

If you need a bigger shop, Telford is about ten minutes away by car.

This cottage can be booked with the other properties here if you're coming with a bigger group.
