Willow Cottage is in Telford. It's a two hundred year old house right on the River Severn. The main room looks straight down the river.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but don't expect anything fancy. It's an old building, so the floors aren't all level. Just something to be aware of.
The garden goes down to the riverbank. There's a gazebo to sit in. If you're fishing, you can just walk down the lawn and there are a few steps to the water's edge.
You can walk from the cottage into Ironbridge Gorge. All the main museums about the Industrial Revolution are there. The famous Iron Bridge itself is from 1779. The village has plenty of pubs and places to eat.
It's a good spot for Shropshire. There are several National Trust properties within a half hour drive, like Attingham Park or Benthall Hall. The Shropshire Hills are about the same distance if you want proper walking. There's a bus route through the village if you don't want to drive.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
