Shrewsbury Fields Shifnal

Shrewsbury Fields is our house in Shifnal. It's a terraced house, so you've got neighbours either side. It's on a quiet street a five minute walk from the town centre.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is spread over three floors. The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. There's a basement that's been made into a games room with a TV and some consoles. The courtyard garden is out the back through the utility room.

A thing to know: the stairs inside are a bit steep and narrow in places. That's just how the house is built.

Shifnal is a market town. There's a shop and a couple of pubs about 160 yards away. The train station is close by on the Birmingham to Shrewsbury line, which is handy.

If you're driving, you're well placed for days out. Ironbridge Gorge, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is about a 15 minute drive. The RAF Museum at Cosford is maybe 10 minutes away. Weston Park is close too. Shrewsbury itself is a 20 minute drive, and the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is about half an hour.
