Holly Cottage is just outside Telford in Shropshire. It's a detached place, so no neighbours through the walls. You've got your own garden, it's enclosed. Parking is right there on the drive.
It sleeps five, in two bedrooms. Both rooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's also set up for wheelchair access at the entrance.
There's a wood burning stove for colder nights. All the bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The WiFi works.
You're about ten minutes from Ironbridge, the World Heritage Site. It's the main reason a lot of people visit. The museums there are good, especially if you've got kids. English Heritage Ironbridge Gorge has the details.
Telford town centre is close for shops and things like that. The Town Park is big and has a play area. For a bigger day out, Shrewsbury is about half an hour's drive. It's a proper historic town with an old centre.
If you want to get out walking, the Shropshire Hills aren't far. Shropshire Hills has route ideas. There's a local pub within walking distance, and a golf course nearby too.
Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock are both nice towns to poke around, each about twenty minutes away in different directions. For other historic sites, National Trust Shropshire lists them all.
