Woodcarver's Cottage
Woodcarver's Cottage is in Telford. It's a detached cottage next to our garden. You get your own decking area out the front.
It's for two people only. One bedroom and one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage is quiet, but you're not far from things. Telford Steam Railway is about five minutes walk away. Horsehay Pool is even closer, just over the road. There's a pub and restaurant about three quarters of a mile down the lane.
Ironbridge is the main reason most people stay. It's a ten minute drive. It's a World Heritage Site because of all the industrial history. You can spend a full day there just going around the different museums. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums site has all the details.
Shrewsbury is a nice market town, about half an hour away. Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock are closer and worth a visit. The Shropshire Hills are good for walking and aren't far.
If you need a big shop or want a cinema, Telford town centre is just over a mile away. Telford Town Park is there too.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. You've got a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. The shower has a seat in it. You can use parts of our garden. We can store bicycles.
