Millie's Cottage is in Telford, Shropshire. It's a semi-detached cottage, sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and kept well.
The garden is round the back, enclosed, with patio furniture. You can park two cars off the lane next to the property. There's an electric car charger point too.
A pub and a restaurant are about a quarter of a mile away. The big thing here is Ironbridge. It's about a ten minute drive. It's a World Heritage Site, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The bridge itself is right there in the town, and there are ten museums in the area. Plenty of places to eat and drink.
For walking and cycling, you're very close to the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, places like Wenlock Edge and the Long Mynd. The Wyre Forest is nearby too.
Within half an hour you can get to a few good days out. There’s the Severn Valley Railway, RAF Cosford museum, and the National Trust’s Powis Castle. The historic towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, and Much Wenlock are all close by. Ludlow, which has the castle and a famous food festival, is about a 45 minute drive.
Facilities wise: it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage. No pets, sorry.
