Millie's Cottage

Millie's Cottage is in Telford, Shropshire. It's a semi-detached cottage in a residential street. The garden is at the back, fully enclosed. Parking is for two cars round the back, off a lane. There's an electric car charging point there too.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both double beds. Two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are worth mentioning, they're the original cottage stairs. They're steep and a bit narrow.

There's a pub about a quarter of a mile away. They do food. Ironbridge is the main draw, it's about a ten minute drive. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bridge is from 1779 and there are ten museums there. Plenty of places to eat.

For walking, you're close to the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge are good for a proper hike. Wyre Forest is good for cycling. If you like castles, there are a few National Trust ones within about half an hour: Powis Castle, Chirk Castle, and Attingham Park.

Shrewsbury is nice for a day out, about 20 minutes by car. Bridgnorth is similar. The Severn Valley Railway is at Bridgnorth too. RAF Cosford is about a 25 minute drive, their museum is very good.

Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. No pets allowed, sorry.
