The Old Sweet Shop
The Old Sweet Shop is in Broseley. It was a sweet shop a long time ago, now it's a house for four people. It's on the main street.
There are two bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a five star rating, which means it's nice inside. New kitchen, comfy furniture, that sort of thing.
There's a small deck out the back on the first floor. It's a suntrap in the afternoon. The garden is mostly paved.
It's over three floors, so there are quite a few stairs. They're normal house stairs, not a ladder.
You can walk to a shop and a pub in about a minute. The pub does food. Ironbridge is just down the road, maybe a five minute drive. It's the main thing here, a world heritage site. You'll want to go to the Ironbridge Gorge Museums.
Shrewsbury is about twenty minutes by car. Big town, good for a wander and a bit of shopping. Bridgnorth is about the same, the other way. Much Wenlock is closer. They're all nice market towns.
If you like walking, the Shropshire Hills are a twenty to thirty minute drive. The Shropshire Hills website has maps. There are loads of National Trust and English Heritage places around here too.
It has wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are there. No dogs, sorry.
