Shepherds Lodge
Shepherds Lodge is in Buildwas, Shropshire. It's a shepherds hut on our working farm. It's got one bedroom and sleeps two. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The hut itself is in the garden, looking out over the valley towards the Wrekin. It's quiet. You get your own private bathroom in a separate block a few steps away. It has a shower.
Inside, it's compact. There's a TV and WiFi. You've got a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.
There's a pub about a mile away that does food. The nearest shop is three miles.
You're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For walks, the Wrekin is right there. The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley are about half an hour's drive. Ironbridge and its museums are very close. Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Ludlow are all within a 30 minute drive. Ludlow has its castle and market.
If you're interested in history, Attingham Park is nearby. So is the Wroxeter Roman City.
It's a glamping setup, so it's a proper bed in a wooden hut, not a tent. No pets.
