The Malthouse is in Wrockwardine. It's on the grounds of Wrockwardine Hall. It used to be a malting house, a fair few hundred years old. It's Grade II listed, which means it's got proper history but also some odd bits because of that.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. They've done it up nicely inside, it's comfortable. It is a very old building though, so watch your head on a few of the beams, especially on the stairs. The floors aren't all perfectly level either.
You've got a private patio area. There's a wood burner for colder nights. We've left you a barbecue. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Parking is right outside.
The village church is next door, it's nice to look at. There's a shop about three minutes walk away. The pub is a mile down the road, it does food.
You're between Telford and Shrewsbury. Telford Town Park is good if you've got kids. Shrewsbury is about fifteen minutes by car, it's the proper old town with the river and the castle. For a day out, Ironbridge is ten minutes away. All the museums there are worth a look. Attingham Park is a National Trust place, also about fifteen minutes drive. If you fancy going further, the Severn Valley Railway starts in Bridgnorth, that's about half an hour.
No pets, I'm afraid.
