Rushmoor Lodge Longdon on Tern

Rushmoor Lodge is a private lodge on our stud farm in Longdon on Tern. It's detached, with its own enclosed garden and patio. Everything is on one level.

It sleeps up to four, but two in the main bedroom and two on the sofa bed in the lounge. So it's better for a couple or a small family. One bathroom.

It's got the 4 Star rating because it's well kept. There's a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, and there's parking right there. We provide a cot and highchair.

The main thing is the outdoor kitchen. It's got a big BBQ, a pizza oven, a sink, a bar and seating. You'll likely spend your time out there if the weather's decent.

We run a working farm, so there are horses about. If you're bringing your own horse, we've got stables, a horse walker, a training pen and post and rail paddocks included. The place is graded by the British Horse Society.

Inside, there's a private gym with a treadmill, weights and a punchbag. It's in a separate building.

The local pub is a gastro pub down the road. They do a good breakfast if you book it.

You're about halfway between Telford and Shrewsbury. Telford has all the shops. Shrewsbury is the nicer historic town. Ironbridge is close, maybe 20 minutes by car. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums are worth a visit. For walks, The Wrekin is a local hill, or you can drive into the Shropshire Hills. The Edge Adventure Centre is nearby if you want activities like climbing.
