Rushmoor Lodge is on our stud farm near Longdon on Tern. It's a detached, single-storey lodge, so everything's on one level. It sleeps two in one bedroom, with a sofa bed for two children if needed.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That's for the finish and fittings, it's smart. The bathroom's a good size. The main thing out the back is the outdoor kitchen area. There's a big pizza oven, a barbecue, a sink, and a bar with seating. It's covered, so you can use it in most weather.
If you're bringing horses, that's what the place is really set up for. You get a stable, access to a horse walker, a training pen, and post and rail paddock grazing. The British Horse Society has graded it for the standard of care.
There's also a private gym on site for guests, with a treadmill, weights, and a punchbag.
Location wise, you're between Shrewsbury and Telford. Both are about a 15 minute drive for shops and things. The local pub does food and is a short walk. The Shropshire Hills are close for walking. Ironbridge is about 20 minutes away if you want to see the museums there.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right by the lodge. The garden is enclosed. We can provide a cot and highchair.
