The Barn At Whitefields
The Barn is in Charlton, which is a small hamlet. It's a barn conversion, so it's a big, open space upstairs. The living area is up there, with patio doors that open onto a glass balcony. You can sit out there if you like.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and both have their own ensuite bathrooms, which is handy. The main bedroom has a king size bed and its own doors out to the patio. The second room has a single bed with another single that pulls out from underneath. They can be zipped together to make a double if you need it. Both rooms have TVs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, wifi, and parking right outside. The garden is enclosed if you're bringing dogs, which you can, up to two.
It's very quiet here. You're in the countryside but Shrewsbury is about a fifteen minute drive for shops and restaurants. Telford is about twenty minutes the other way. For walking, the Wrekin is close. The Mortimer Forest is good, and you're on the edge of the Shropshire Hills if you want to go further.
The property is on National Cycle Route 81, so it's a straightforward spot for cyclists. The Ironbridge Gorge museums are worth a trip if you're interested in that sort of thing.
