The Wild Cherry Tree Retreat is in Coalbrookdale, which is part of Ironbridge. It's a semi-detached cottage next to ours. You get the whole place.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The bathroom is upstairs.
The main thing is the garden. It's enclosed, quite private, and looks down towards the river. There's a cherry tree in it. You can sit out there with a drink. You can bring one dog.
Inside, it's got period features like the fireplaces. The living room is a good size for everyone to sit together. There's a desk in the corner if you need to work.
You're right in the gorge. The Iron Bridge itself is about a ten minute walk downhill. There are cafes and pubs along the way. The Tontine is the closest pub, just down the road.
All the main museums are a short walk or drive. Blists Hill Victorian Town is probably the big one for families. Enginuity is good for kids on a wet day. For walks, you can follow the river or go up into the woods.
For a day out, Shrewsbury is about twenty minutes by car. It's a proper market town with a castle.
What's here: Washing machine, WiFi, TV, all bedding and towels are provided. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
