The Shepherds Rest is a shepherd's hut near Buildwas in Shropshire. It's on its own bit of land, so it's just for you. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-finished.
The hut itself is one room with a wood burner, a kitchen area, and a bed. It's all open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, and the bedding is supplied. Outside, there's a deck with seating and a brick BBQ.
The bathroom is separate. It's a short walk from the hut across the yard. It's private, just for you, and has a shower and a toilet. There's a stained glass window in there.
You can bring one dog. Parking is right there.
For things to do, Ironbridge Gorge is very close. It's a World Heritage Site. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums cover a lot of it. Buildwas Abbey ruins are just down the road, cared for by English Heritage. The Wrekin hill is about a ten minute drive if you want a proper walk with a view. Shrewsbury is about twenty minutes away by car.
If you're coming with a bigger group, there are other huts and cottages on the same site. You can book a few together.
