All the fun awaits you with this quirky and homely Welsh cottage, steps away from the high street in Barmouth. Set in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales, Tyn Y Coed Cottage has been renovated to provide comfortable accommodation in a fantastic location. Perfect for a romantic break for two, a small family or group of friends hoping to explore the Welsh coastline.
Both the outside and the inside of the cottage retains much of its original character, with furnishings and art pieces made by local artists and craftsmen. The kitchen is well-equipped, whilst the charming living room with wood burner has a cosy feel with comfy seating. It’s the perfect room to sit back with a great book or enjoy a conversation over a glass of wine. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite featuring a claw foot bath, a snug offering a double sofa bed, and a shower room. Outside, a small, enclosed patio with furniture is the perfect spot for that first morning coffee or a well-deserved supper after the day’s adventures.
Set back and hidden down a quiet path just off the main high street, Tyn Y Coed Cottage lies within the seaside town of Barmouth. It is at the head of the beautiful Mynach Valley, which is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists, and mountain bikers. Ideally placed for those hoping to get out and about to explore the rolling countryside or enjoy a stroll along the beach with an ice cream in town afterwards.
