This lovely, 17th-century, former stable lies on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The property is set on a working sheep farm and is ideal for walkers and climbers, as it is in an optimal position to both Aran Fawddwy and Cader Idris.
Located just 1 mile from the town of Dolgellau, there is plenty to see and do from this property. Take a walk over Cader Iris with the wonderful views from the top, there is the Mawddach trail just outside Barmouth and the scenery is just fabulous. The farmers market at Dolgellau is definitely worthy of a visit. Tourist attractions nearby include King Arthur’s Labyrinth, Dyfi Osprey Centre, Centre for Alternative Technology and Coed Y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre. Also, there is Zip World at Ffestiniog, the Highland Mountain Railway, Llechwed slate mines, the enchanting Italianate style village of Portmeirion and Bala, with its white water rafting. Not to forget, the west Wales coast and popular seaside resorts of Aberdovey, Barmouth, Harlech and the Lleyn Peninsula.
