Aberystwyth is a diverse University town. The town boasts a wealth of local independent shops, cafes, and restaurants as well as some of the well-known High Street providers. The close relationship between the town and the University gives a young vibrant feel that makes the town feel safe and welcoming. The Wales coastal path runs along the Victorian promenade making the town a great stop off for keen walkers.
If you fancy a change of scenery, try one of the woodland walks nearby. In a short circular walk you can enjoy the best of the woodland, open countryside, and coast that Wales has to offer. There are many attractions in and around the town giving great experiences for all the family. Enjoy everything from dolphin watching to cave and mine exploring or some more cultural like a trip to the museum or the National Library of Wales.
