Dolgau is a Grade II listed cottage full of charm, with a lovely welcoming feeling as soon as walk through the door. Set privately down a lane, with a large garden and magnificent views, this spacious cottage is perfect for families, friends or a romantic couples break away. There’s miles of idyllic coastline to explore with picture perfect beaches and dunes, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Just down the road you’ll find Harlech, home to the imposing UNESCO World Heritage Site, Harlech Castle. Bustling Barmouth is also only a short distance, where you can take a walk along the promenade and indulge in some fish and chips. An iconic feature of the town is Barmouth Bridge, a railway viaduct across the Mawddach Estuary which is over 150 years old. It is half a mile in length, with a wooden promenade suitable for pedestrians or cyclists which now forms part of the Wales Coast Path and the Lon Las Cymru Cycle Network. Nantcol waterfalls are just 5 miles away and offer a great day out, a perfect place for a family picnic whilst playing in the stream. You’re in a fantastic location to explore this area of the Snowdonia National Park.
