Set in a rural location on the Lleyn peninsular, with spectacular views of Snowdon, you’re only a short drive to amenities. The cottage is perfectly positioned in between coast and mountains, with some very scenic walks straight from the doorstep. Here you’re really in the heart of all North Wales has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia, and popular tourist towns all within easy reach.
Snowdonia has many adventures to offer including climbing, slate mines to visit, ‘Go below’ activities and Zip World Velocity 2, which is the fastest zip wire in the world, and the longest zip wire in Europe!
There are miles of coastline to explore. Just down the road you’ll find Aberdesach and Dinas Dinlle beaches, with wonderful views across the bay to Anglesey and Holyhead. The island of Anglesey is only a 30-minute drive where you will find an abundance of activities and historic sights. There are beautiful beaches on Anglesey, including the stunning Newbororough Warren beach, and further down the peninsular towards Abersoch. There is a beautiful golf course on the coast at Nefyn. Close to the golf course are beautiful beaches, and a unique pub right on the Sandy beach.
Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site, is only 11 miles distance, where King Charles took his investiture. Venture just a little further to Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railways, all within easy reach. There’s something for all ages in this diverse region and it would certainly be a break to remember.
