Set peacefully just above Abersoch in the quiet village of Llanengan, Tan y Fynwent lies within a few minutes’ walk of the village pub, which is famed for its home cooked meals. In a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Abersoch centre, this semi-detached cottage has a lovely, welcoming feeling with a stylish interior and quality furnishings; attention to detail has certainly been at the forefront of its interior design. The accommodation boasts a sophisticated living room, with sumptuous seating and warming wood burner, and a modern kitchen/dining room with views over the large rear garden. On the first floor are a double and a twin bedroom, both with ample storage and quality mattresses and bedding. A modern family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the picture. The rear south-facing garden, with uninterrupted views over Cardigan Bay, is quite a special place to relax in and take in the stunning vista. There’s an outdoor dining area and separate rattan sofa-style seating, along with a barbecue and fire pit.
You could quite simply park up and enjoy the area on foot, as there are plenty of walks, beaches, and the centre of Abersoch all within walking distance. If you fancy hopping in the car there are many other stunning beaches and coastal paths to explore in the area. You are also within easy reach of Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. Criccieth and Harlech are also only a short drive away where you’ll find the historic castles of the area. No matter what your interests are the magical Llyn Peninsula has everything to offer from golf, fishing, and adventure sports to nature and history. Beach 1½ miles.
