Superbly located with fabulous sea views out over Cardigan Bay and Criccieth Castle, this spacious, detached property is situated at the end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac. There is direct access to the beach, which is only a 6-minute walk via public railway crossing, and a wonderful decked patio wrapping around the property, with a blissful hot tub. This property has recently undergone complete refurbishment, in 2018, and offers spacious and luxurious accommodation that is ideal for families or groups.
Tregennis is within walking distance of the village of Criccieth, which offers a lovely selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, and there is golf, fishing, horse riding and walking all available locally. Criccieth Castle dominates the coastline with what remains of its twin-towered gatehouse, and has great views over the sea to Harlech.
Nearby Porthmadog is the departure point for wonderful steam train journeys on the famous Ffestiniog Railway as it winds its way through spectacular meadows and woodland, past lakes and waterfalls up into the mountains. The Italianate village of Portmeirion, location of the cult TV series ’The Prisoner’, is just beyond the town, whilst an array of outdoor activities and family attractions are available in the nearby Snowdonia National Park, and the rolling countryside of the Llyn Peninsula. Easy day trips include Caernarfon with its walled town and castle, and the attractive resort of Abersoch, which is popular for its watersports. Beach 150 yards.
